Wine & Yoga:

This special event is organized for Yogis who love to travel, meet new people and learn about good quality wines from …

one of the undiscovered wine-producing areas of Italy.

A unique opportunity to spend a few days in the beautiful, secluded Abruzzo Borgo in the Abruzzo region, enjoying daily, gentle yoga practice, poolside relaxation, and wine-tasting at some of the local vineyards. Even if you’ve never tried yoga before, or you are a novice when it comes to wine, you’ll love this trip!

Discounted rate for our April trip. Read on for further details:

I just love travel, adventure, yoga and wine! And most of all I love sharing these experiences with others.

Come alone or with a friend. Either way, you’ll have some new, like-minded friends by the end of the trip. And as well as teaching yoga both mornings, I will be there to look after you for the duration of the trip.

On this special weekend, we will raise our vibrations by coming together to practice yoga in this beautiful countryside location, chilling by the pool and making new, like-minded friends.

Afternoons/Evenings will be spent visiting unique places such as former Formula 1 driver Jarno Trulli’s winery, where you can sample some of his famous award-winning wines. You will learn how the different brands are produced and also watch the bottling process.

We will also visit a smaller, bio vineyard run by young winegrowers where you can taste their exciting new wines.

***Please note: The remote location of the Abruzzo Borgo is one of the things that makes it so special. With that in mind, for morning and afternoon flights from Rome to home, it is be advisable to take the local bus bus back to Rome airport. This bus departs once per day, around 8am. Should you prefer to extend your stay for an extra night we are delighted to offer you a special rate of only €35. Please do keep in mind the logistics when booking your flights, and please reach out for assistance with this at any time.

How to get here:

The closest airport to us is Pescara Abruzzo Airport. If you choose to fly there, the venue will pick you up and bring you back to Abruzzo Borgo in the town of Alanno, which is about a 40-minute car ride.

There is also the less expensive route of flying into Rome and taking regional bus transportation to Chieti/Pescara. Buses from Rome airports run every two hours to Pescara. You will disembark at the Chieti bus terminal. The venue will pick you up there. Abruzzo Borgo is located about 25 minutes away in the town of Alanno.

Ryanair  flights from London, Frankfort, Barcelona and other European cities can be purchased at very reasonable prices when booked in advance, to Pescara (the nearest airport) and Rome.  Alitalia sometimes has special offers to Rome.

One of the best sites to shop for airfares bargains is farecompare.com.  Often you can get cheaper flights on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday allowing you to stay a few days longer. The venue will offer you a discount for adding days to your visit.

Tip: Since you may have an opportunity to purchase wine at a reduced price directly from the vineyards you’ll visit, you might like to bring a carry-on bag that will fit in the overhead bin of the airplane, that you can then check in on the way home.
