11 Feb May Yoga & Surf Weekend 8th – 10th May 2020
The weather will be improving, here’s hoping for a heatwave this year! Let’s get back in the water for some surf lessons, and back into the yoga studio to stretch out our tired limbs.
What better way to spend a weekend than playing in the water, stretching out in the yoga studio, and hanging out with beautiful people… : )
Even if you’ve never done yoga or surfing before you will LOVE it!
***THE ITINERARY –
*Friday evening bus leaves Heuston station at 7pm sharp.
*Arrive at the lodge in Bundoran around 10.30pm and check in.
*Get settled in and head to bed, or head out for a sociable drink to meet the rest of the crew, the choice is yours.
*Breakfast at the lodge from 8.30am until 11am, so have something light pre-yoga and/or tuck in after yoga!
*At 9am we have a pre-surf yoga session in a nearby yoga studio (5 minute walk). Let’s limber up and get into the zone! (***NOTE: times of yoga and surf lesson may change depending on conditions etc).
* Just before 11am we go to the surf school to get our wetsuits etc and head off to the surf lesson (or without lesson if you are more experienced) at one of the many beautiful beaches around the area.
*Hot chocolate and hot shower when we get back to the surf school.
*The afternoon is then yours for some eating, mooching around, mingling and getting to know each other. Napping is optional! Or some easy walks nearby.
7.30pm – BYOB BBQ at Foam Cafe for 10 euro per person. Super fun sunset vibes with a live DJ too!
*Sunday morning yoga, breakfast, surf, then lunch, lovingly prepared by our favourite chef, will be ready for us when we get out of the changing rooms. It will be healthy and not too heavy. Price not included, we pay the chef directly (€10 per person). It’s optional, but will save us time and effort, so we don’t need to rush for the bus home.
*Check out, and then get the bus back to Dublin at 4pm. Snoozing on the bus home is encouraged, but don’t forget to swap social media details with all your new buddies! Arrive back in Dublin around 7.30pm.
